Garth of Izar--human?

I think he was an Izarian -- and not human, but then again nobody asked me...

If they made that episode now, I think he'd have some kind of bumps on his head or weird ears or some such...and then we'd know for sure he was an alien. But, back in the day with budget's being tight and all...he just looked human like most of the aliens on TOS...

I'd also bet that shape-shifting would not be done by way of a defocusing cut. :p

You need to focus more to shapeshift. ;)

My guess is that the Antosian shapeshifting ability was used to save Garth when he was injured. What he was taught was how to control it. But that's just my take on it.
