Post your Desktop - Winter 08-09

Mine for the last few days has been an image of a gentleman being dragged on the 'sex and the city' tour by his wife and daughter - waiting with great embarrassment while they shop. Wispa Gold for anyone who can identify him!

mr revdkathy?

There is no Mr RevdKathy. I alternate explanations between "All men are fools but none of them are that foolish" and "Marriage is a partnership of equals and I've yet to meet the man who is my equal".

No wispa gold for you, I'm afraid. He's actually quite well known in the UK, though not for his face...

^ I believe that is a 1962. If memory serves, the 1961 still used the old hood ornament/emblem. The 1962 introduced the circular version. (I think that was also the first year you could get the car without the chrome front bumper tag holder.)

But that is one gorgeous car. I am not sure what they have done to the wheels though. I don't think those are the original hubcaps and those low profile tires look rather silly.

Just changed mine today. It's not a Halloween desktop, but I'll probably be switching back and forth between them and my Krystal Halloween desktop. As always, click the pic to see the full size if you wish (1600x900):

A fox with bosoms wearing a bikini? I don't know.

She's an anthropomorphic fox. Nothing odd about that.

That really depends on your definition of odd, I think.

We're on a board where people salivate over Klingons, Trills with slugs in their abdomens, Vulcans who have to have sex every 7 years, and green Orion slave girls.

This should be the last place "odd" should have a more narrower definition.

All of whom are played by human beings. Adding breasts to a fox does not, for me at least, make it at all sexually attractive. It's still quite clearly an animal.

Obviously. It's anthropomorphic. It is an animal with human characteristics and human sentience.
Then again, are people salivating over the humans under the makeup?

It's not narrower, it's different.

Not saying you can't share your pictures, I couldn't care less one way or the other - but just because you like them doesn't mean everyone has to, and people are allowed to find them odd.

I'm sure people here would find it odd that I have a growing collection of cuddly stuffed germs. But that's me, I don't think it's odd.
