"Science Month at Crewe Library
Science and Fiction with David McIntee - a great day for any Science Fiction fan, young or old.
Drop in any time between 1pm and 6pm on Tuesday 6th October and meet David A. McIntee, writer of novels based on the science fiction television series Doctor Who, as well as Final Destination and Space: 1999. David also contributes to many magazines including Star Trek Communicator, Titan's Star Trek Magazine and The Official Star Wars Fact Files. On the day David will be doing:
* Talks
* Workshops
* Dressing up
* Science Fiction film props
* Creating stories
* Finding our how sci/fi films are made
Admission £1."
Since I now know there's already a primary school class of 45 (we *think* they're year 6s, i.e. 10-11) coming, it'd be nice to even things up with attendees of other ages and walks of life...
I'm assuming the "dressing up" part is for the kiddies...
Anyhow, the schoolkids are there from 1-3, then it's safe for anybody else to come along, until 6!
