Sons of Anarchy

I saw the first episode and liked it, but missed the next two, and decided to wait and catch a repeat...

Wow, so no Sam Crow Fan Club around here, huh?

Too bad, it's started the season in its usual badass-yet-character-based fashion.

It's Soprano's with Bikers. Nothing more, nothing less. Typical Crime drama I thought.

I'm waiting for the British version with Hugh Grant, Colin Firth, Rupert Everett and Steve Coogan. No one does badass motorcycle gang better than them! :)

I watched the first episode (even made a thread for it that barely got any responses) and that was enough for me.

I kind of liked the first season, it wasn't very entertaining, but I thought it had potential. The second season doesn't seem to be delivering on that, and I'll probably stop watching. The characters are very unrealistic and the villains are bland.

It's one of my favorite shows right now. :techman:
Hale is probably my favorite character, the conflicted cop who wants to clean up his town the right way, but can't beat Sam Crow.
Chief Unser, the cop in Sam Crow's pocket, is becoming a favorite now too. I'm sensing a violent end for him coming up though and not from cancer.
Gemma kicks ass of course.
The Sam Crow guys are cool too. Juice is my favorite, their tech guy.

Poor Chief Unser. I would really like to know his backstory or even a full flashback episode showing the sons arrival and takeover of Charming.

Sam Crow fan here. This show just kicks ass all over the place. They have a stellar cast and the rawness of it just smacks you in the face. I love Ron Perlman, so he drew me in initially, but now I'm in it for the little blond haired boy, Jax.

I watch every episode, but I don't have cable and have to catch it on hulu, which (unfortunately) is a week behind.

I found it interesting that Gemma was the one who brought the gang back to her home town. That makes me think she was more of a driving force in the creation of Sam Crow, and increases the odds that she was involved in John Teller's death (rather than Clay perpetrating it and then Gemma became involved in covering it up afterwards).

I like him, too, but they recently made him unrealistically stupid that he could ally himself with the white supremacists and not realize that even if they succeeded in evicting Sam Crow from Charming, that he wouldn't be under their thumb instead of the bikers'.
