What's your favorite moon phase?

I was out driving a few nights ago and looked up at the moon. It was at waxing crescent, or around there, and it was bright in the sky and just looked beautiful.

I'd say that it's my favorite moon-phase, it's probably even better when Venus is on rise.



So how's about you? What's your favorite moon phase?

I don't really have a favorite phase, but I do like those random times of the year when the atmosphere is all goofy and the moon looks about twice its normal size. I also like it when I can still see the moon in the middle of the day.

I will add I like the "Harvest Moon" (when it's orange-ish) and the "Blue Moon" (second full-moon in a month) is nifty.

Mine is between the new moon and waxing crescent. I suppose an "eighth moon". Reminds me of the smile on the Cheshire Cat, and that the universe is amused by us all.

My taste in phases waxes and wanes, but I suppose a nice bright Full Moon would be my favorite. Although the Crescent Moon always reminds me of old Warner Bros cartoons.
