What are your plans for Christmas this year? Do you even celebrate it? Will you splurge on gifts or not give any at all? Are you traveling or staying home? Are you cooking a big or small Christmas dinner?

I love Christmas. When i was younger, the parties were huge affairs. Everyone in my family would be there. Now ... not so much. Still fun though.

ok.....

how about the Christmas bunny?...

Christmas is the best time of the year. Even though its not as big as it used to be, its still a great feeling :)

Major christmas this year. It's my daughter's first bday on Christmas Eve. So you can bet there will be a BIG party!!

Sure, I'll do Christmas. Why ever not? Presents, parties, alcohol & overeating never goes out of fashion.

Just this week the emails started flying about where to hold our work party this year.

It's just another boring day that usually happens to be really cold and wet. The only reason I don't NOT celebrate it is because of the fact you usually get showered with gifts regardless of whether you buy them for other people or not.

This is boring how, exactly? :D

Because the gifts are usually boring. DVDs or CDs that you already own/have illegally acquired, clothes that you wouldn't want to wear or don't fit, 1000 cans of deoderant (OH THANKS but I can buy my own), or tons of chocolate which you never end up eating anyway.

Birthdays are far superior because people usually buy things that you actually want.

You need to introduce the people in your world to the concept of an amazon wish-list...

That, plus all those gifts = free money if listed on eBay. So, not boring! :D

I haven't decided yet if I will celebrate Christmas this year... I probably will, as I don't want to be home alone.

Don't care really much about Christmas, but overeating with family and getting drunk with friends is great, so it's ok. However, as an astronomer, I make a point of honour to wish an accurate winter solstice to everyone I meet.

Christmas is fine. Halloween is better. New Years is usually the best (although last year I drank so much that I passed out before midnight!).
