I would have gotten a kick out of a Bones/X-Files cross over. Just to see how Booth and Brennan react in terms of seeing Mulder and Scully. That would have just made me laugh my butt off .

I think I read something about this too. It may have involved Mulder and Scully meeting Agent Cooper. Whether Coop was back to normal or was still possessed is unclear.

But wouldn't he have commented on the remarkable similarity between Mulder and Denis(e), the cross-dressing cop?

I'm still mystified over USA not arranging a Monk/Psych crossover...

I'd have liked to have seen a full blown Buffy/Angel crossover. Like a TV movie, with both casts fully interacting, not just one person from show A going over to show B

you know would could be fun, a crossover event designed to bring characters from old much loved shows back to primetime, as your example Magnum PI appears on NCIS

Meanwhile one of the Charlies Angels shows up on Cold Case

This would have made the most sense of the ideas I've seen. Just on the last Fringe episode, a reference was made to 'X' projects...

I've always wanted to see Hercules crossover with Buffy. The two shows are fairly similar in tone, so it would have worked extremely well. Likewise with Xena and Angel.

That would be quite hard to pull off considering the time zones!!

I know its not so much of a crossover but i would have loved to see the enterprise E in the dominion war. where was the federation flagship when all of this was happening?

Always wanted to see "Dharma and Greg" and their parents meet up with "Gilmore Girls" and the parents there.

Just think it would be fun.

When Darrin McGavin was still around I really wanted to see Kolchack mett-up with Fox Mulder on the X-Files.

A few years ago there were plans for a massive crossover of *all three* L&O shows, involving a terrorist attack on NYC, but it was quickly cancelled after 9/11 took place. To this day I don't think any crossover has involved all L&O shows, and I don't think CI has ever had one.

Me, I would have liked a L&O/Sopranos crossover: Jack McCoy goes up against Tony Soprano.

Actually, that might work better now: Set *Michael Cutter* after Soprano. Cutter would make mincemeat out of all of those guys. :techman:

There's already been a Who/Trek crossover, in a sense. It was called The Doctor And The Enterprise. The 4th Doctor shows up on the Enterprise and helps them battle the...shit, I can't remember who, I think it was the Rutans or the Sontarans (the Doctor determines that they are in his universe, after pointing out some differences between the two - in Trekverse, Gallifrey does not exist as its sun supernovaed quite a long time ago, and in Who, Vulcan destroyed itself in civil war). One thing I thought was weird is that in this story, no Trek character is ever identified by name - they're just The Captain, The Engineer, The Physician, etc.

David Duchovny could play a double role as both Mulder and that cross-dressing transexual guy.

Love to see a Lone gunman / CSI las vegas, Grissum would go insane with those three helping him on a special case.

Didn't they basically do that. I remember McGavin being on X-Files playing Mulder's predecessor, while Scully is caught in a hurricane.

Especially in Buffy Season 7/Angel Season 4 when the Apocalypses were both happening. It would have been awesome if they had been one in the same.

Alright, I found a Twin Peaks FAQ that may shed some light on this.

Sadly, it appears that this was just an ongoing rumor during The X-files run. Chris Carter was asked directly about this, and said nothing like that was ever in development, although he was a fan of Twin Peaks.

Honestly, I'm a bit suprised. I realise Twin Peaks was off the air by that point , But Agent Cooper was a hugely popular character and would have fit in very well in an ep of the X-files. I doubt they would've gone farther than just having Cooper, and I doubt they ever could've secured the rights, but it would've been great to see.

They're both in Miami, after all. I would LOVE to see them cross paths. They are both, in their own way, vigilantes.

And, in my sick little heart, I'm still hoping Dexter will stumble across an incompetent CSI agent with red hair and sunglasses. OH, that would make me soooo happy.

Also, in the "NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS" category, I would love the Leverage bunch to come across the now-retired A-Team.

A House/Lie to Me crossover would be interesting, too. The male leads are basically the same character, so it would be interesting to see them go toe-to-toe.

    Sontarans. Later, they meet Daleks.

Ah, you had the Pioneer Press edition. The original fanfic story named everyone. A publisher decided to print it, as an actual book, and scrubbed the names.

I think it's weird that Criminal Intent has never done a crossover with the other Law & Order shows. I know the original series & SVU have done a few. Even Trial by Jury did a couple during its extremely short run. (Fontana & Salazar teamed up to discover who shot Ed Green. And then there was a giant 2-part crossover where SVU caught a serial rapist played by Alfred Molina, then Tracy Kibre prosecuted him.)

I also read that one of the later Law & Order/Homicide: Life on the Street crossovers was originally going to be a 3-way with ER. They couldn't arrange it, particularly since all 3 shows both took place and were shot in 3 different cities. Law & Order was in New York. Homicide was in Baltimore. ER was set in Chicago but shot in L.A. Coordinating transportation for the actors & crews was already extremely difficult with just 2 shows, nevermind 3.

My version didn't rely on the holodeck. Instead, I was able to tie in the respective mythologies of the Borg & the Daleks. The Doctor Who portion took place sort of in the middle of the ending of "Doomsday" (after Rose gets trapped in Pete's world but before the Doctor says his final goodbye to her). The Doctor is patrolling the void when the TARDIS gets pulled into the Star Trek universe by the Borg. It made sense to me that the Borg would be searching other dimensions to find new species to assimilate. We already know that's how they met Species 8472. Now, the Borg have set their sights on the technologically superior Daleks. It seemed the best way to do a crossover would be to put the Doctor into an unfamiliar universe. That way, the Doctor could still be the smartest man in the room but he wouldn't just make the Starfleet people look stupid because they have vital information that he needs because he doesn't have Borg in his universe. In fact, it's Seven's nanoprobes that allow the TARDIS to adapt to an alternative universe energy source to get back home.

Agreed. I was especially bummed out that no one from Angel other than Angel ever appeared on Buffy, even though minor characters from Buffy like Willow & Oz could appear on Angel and it would be treated like a major event. But I think Angel got the last laugh in the Buffy finale when the First Evil ended up being defeated not by Buffy, Xander, or Willow but by Wolfram & Hart.

I always imagined Gunn, Fred, & Wesley showing up at the end of "Chosen." They arrive in black Wolfram & Hart vans ready to form that 2nd front that Buffy & Angel were talking about, only to find that Sunnydale is already a giant sunken pit. I think Gunn & Fred's reaction to that would have been funny.

Yeah. Those are always fun. I loved the crossover they did on Mad About You where Paul's history of television documentary was narrated by Alan Brady from The Dick Van Dyke Show.

As someone else said, I think this did happen. He wasn't actually Kolchack but McGavin was certainly playing a similar character, a kind of proto-Mulder.

I can't think of a good in-continuity reason for this, but I'd like to see a season of Doctor Who where Catherine Tate plays the companion but each week the companion is a different character from The Catherine Tate Show.
    "You will be exterminated!"
    "I'm not bovvered."
    "Exterminate!"
    "I'm not bovvered though."
    "But you will die!"
    "Don't care."

For that matter, I always wondered what would happen if some of the various characters from The Catherine Tate Show met each other. I can only imagine what ruckus would be caused if Nan Taylor was in the hospital and Bernie was her nurse.
