Batman: Arkham Asylum IS AWESOME, buy it now

According to a report in the L.A Times, Arkham Asylum has sold 2 million units in its first month of release.

An update on the DLC too; there will be two DLC packs released this month. The first will arrive on Thursday September 17th and is called "Insane Night", and the second arrives a week later on September 24th and is called "Prey in the Darkness".

Brought it on Friday and I fucking love it...

I played it semi heavily in like 2 hour per bursts and I have gotten quite far. I am heading towards Killer Croc's lair so about last third of the game.

Great news about the DLC being free.
 
DLC is free? How does that work for Arkham Asylum but Microsoft refuses to let Valve give out free Left 4 Dead content?

Honestly, it's not really your fault. I read about it online, so I knew what to expect. No idea how I would have reacted otherwise.

It was my first instinct, yeah. I suppose it seems foolish, now, but at the time... And considering that I play with the surround system on, the kind of noise it was making was not one that I wanted it to continue making.

Well, at least I can just be a little redfaced now and not have to worry about exchanging it at the store or something. Thanks all.

i freaked out when it happened, and restarted my system... i didnt think the game was broken, i thought my system was starting to die... maybe if i hadn't replaced my 360 3 times already i wouldnt have been so quick to shut down, restart and pray that i'm not about to get red ringed, again...
