I went camping this weekend. 'Twas very fun.

This was one of the many fun times. I'm in the middle. My odd body posture is caused by the fact that I'm standing on two very unstable rocks.

A couple of Europeans lived there, and while I'm not sure this image is from that particular house, I'm sure this sort of thing also happened there.

I used to enjoy camping. Not anymore though.

Why, pray tell, is that? Something happen? Get caught in a snow storm? Didn't enjoy the after effects of "Campfire chili" in the tent at night? Sasquatch attack?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Personally, I love camping but I miss it. Don't get to do it nearly enough these days, partially because I don't have time or great places to go near me ... and partially because The Hubby doesn't like sleeping on the ground ... or bugs ... or dirt ... or nature, really.

Eh don't be. He made the last camping trip i went on rather unbearable to me. So i have no desire to go back.

I've got a campground lined up in the Berkshires for next weekend. My fun generally begins after Labor Day when the crowds begin to die down and certain places relax dog restrictions. Plus I hate the heat and humidity.

My old man has turned me off to a number of things as well. Not sure just what the circumstance were, but hang in there Shameless!.

I've got a better idea! We need either a good Gay'ol and/or TBBS camping trip to get you over this. I mean, really, imagine how fun a weenie roast would be, and a marshmallow roast. We could all compare whose flamed marshmallow looked more like Christopher Pike from "Menagerie", and who made the better "Horta" from his/her marshmallow. And then, of course, there's the whole ST V camping reinactment. You all can sing "Row, Row, Row your boat", right?
