Honestly depends on my mood.

Star Trek: The Motion Picture
Star Trek III: The Search for Spock
Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country
Star Trek: Generations
Star Trek (2009)

Above are the ones I usually reach for when I want a Trek movie fix.

Generations.

Yeah, I'm the one.
According to the poll, it looks like you are one of several.
I voted for Star Trek 2, but I have always like Generations and thought it was underrated.

Personally, Gernerations isn't one of my favorite Trek flicks, but the thing about Star Trek - to paraphrase the great, late DeForrest Kelley, Star Trek is made up of moments. Every Trek film, barring none has some wonderful moments. Generations is no exception.

wrath of khan and first contact are two of my best star trek movies though i do like undiscovered country

Mine is "The Undiscovered Country", for a few reasons...

- It was the first movie where Klingons weren't the "bad" guys.
- It was an original plot... a whodunit murder-mystery in space.
- We got a glimpse of the larger UFP community, via the Camp Khitomer scenes.
- We finally saw more than just one Starfleet ship, acting against an adversary.
- We got to see Captain Sulu, and the U.S.S. Excelsior.

And Sulu's awesome USS Excelsior teacup (I've always wanted one of those and a Defiant mug).

Those are really great ideas. I especially like the murder-mystery point.

i have a hard time picking between a few of them (Generations (yeah, me too), TWOK, TUD...

INS and NEM have yet to get a single vote. I can understand NEMESIS...but I always thought INSURRECTION had a couple of fans in here who loved its slowing-down-time story concept and the music? Maybe they just haven't voted yet.

I AM a huge fan of "Insurrection", but IMO, the pacing of the movie was too much like a TV episode... it just wasn't paced right for the big screen. But I totally love the film, and GREATLY applaud it for being the first Trek film without ANY baddie Klingons, or any Borg... it was wholly original, a good story, and a fresh set of alien cultures to see.
