This is my state of the art, loft bedroom about 1985 in Norwich, Ct

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v353/SPOCKED/sc007048bd.jpg

Top notch stereo system including my Sanyo Q50 turntable, and top of the line Harmon/Kardon tape deck, and Hitachi VCR. Sweet Mitsubishi 19" color tv, Commodore 64, and other assorted goodies. Of course my refit 1701 ties the whole room together. What I wouldn't give to revisit that old room :)
C64! Awseomes. :D
I was born in 1985 ...
And I got my first job in 1985...

Here is the same C64, ten years later, still in perfect working order ;)

Cool! Is that Dig Dug I see on screen?

I have a C64 emulator on my PC for the nostalgia factor. I even found a copy of the same music software I used to mess around with many moons ago...

:D

Went to the park I used to do 6 to 10 miles on every day. Did a couple miles, then played with the Bush Kitties.

I've been going back to the park regularly just to do a short amount of walking and running (my left side hurts really bad when I do too much now) and I noticed changes in the Bush Kitties. A few months ago I took pictures and showed you all in fact -- my album has a picture of "Bunny"; the white siamese when he was still a white fluffy ball.

"Bunny", as you will see below, has lost a lot of white; these big patches of tan have appeared all over:

"Black & White" has gotten fat & happy and barely scratches and bites me like he used too, in fact -- now he'll lick my hand. I never imagined he'd mellow that much (I'd assumed Bunny would sit in my lap before that would ever happen). Here he is lying down, looking fat, dumb, and happy:

And, as I recall, this is the first time I've had the camera with me when "Stubs" was present. After my baby, the black cat with the long tail who'd sit in my lap and pure disappeared (later found out a family "adopted" her, so to speak), Stubs became kind of distant and forelorn; they used to hang out and lie by each other. Stubs would even disappear for days, and he's pretty much stopped hanging out in the Bush Kitty area. Call him "Stubs" for obvious reasons...

I would have thought Stubs would take over as leader, but low & behold, Bunny -- whom I first encountered mid last year as a small, white, extremely skittish kitten -- has taken over as the leader of the Bush. In fact, much like the black cat I used to give love to everyday, Bunny now has to have lots of love each time, and she's let a new cat join the group. I have nicknamed the new orange cat: Orange Sherbet

The cat is a little skittish, but for the most part he or she seems to understand this is a safe place and watches me give love to all the other kitties. Sherbet won't come out, but it'll lay around (about 5 or more feet), and watch with an overall ease.

Problems have arisen for the Bush Kitties. A calico cat that has a home and comes by to steal their food, now has a chain of four baby kittens dragging behind her. This is a BIG problem 'cause this kind of inflated cat population might get all the others trapped in a animal "rescue" shelter, and even if not, these kittens will come here and take the food from these cats, when they got a home and owner that feeds them. I am pissed.

We have another new member. Another siamese cat, who I have seen for the secodn time now:

Didn't seem to be afraid of me, but also didn't come up from the bushes to say hello.

And for last, I saved the BEST picture. Here is Bunny looking really cute and pretty:

Ack Tucson?

Now I'm from fugly LA so everything looks good by comparison, but I thought the town was beautiful.

Eh, I like Phoenix better. However the area surrounding Tucson is nice.

Phoenix is awesome too. My sister lives there and I've considered joining her for a few years now.

It's great... until the summer. :p

You should come to NorCal... much better air and architecture.
