Only this and two more episodes to go for the season!

From zap2it - "Sookie, Bill and Jason return to Bon Temps; Hoyt and Jessica try to keep Maxine's madness a secret; Jason tries to rescue Sam."

First, we get Jason and Bill, now Jason and Sam? When do we get our all-out Jason, Sam, and Bill grouping?

It was pretty good and the scenes with Jason were hilarious. I too am wondering what Sookie is, especially after lighting up Mary Ann's face.

I can't wait until next week. has anybody read the books? are they any good?

Well, how bout that?

1 - Now we see what MA's zombies see.

2 - Jason is finally "manning up" ... sure took long enough.

3 - Tara's mother actually didn't annoy me ... about time.

4 - Sam sure is 'shifting in front of a lot of people in this show. In the books, only Sookie knows, for a very long time. Here, he's 'shifting in the jail, in front of a gang of witnesses, and not Andy and Jason know he can do it ... by the way, how bout his heiny, huh? Three cheers for that view. Rawr!

5 - Still unsure of what happened there with Sookie. Either she did it herself with her .. um .. heritage. :) ... or Claudine did it. Wouldn't that be fun if it was C? or Claudia, even? Well we know Claud's not involved ... self-involved, sure, but that's another matter.

6 - Yay! Name drop for Doc Ludwig.

We've only got two episodes left. The one next week, and then the one in three weeks. They are skipping the Sunday between for Labor Day. In that time, MA's plot will have to be wrapped up, we'll meet the Queen and Hadley, and somehow, Weres will be involved. Because they love their cliffhangers, and we absolutely have a season 3.

4 stars. The creepiness of the possessed is now silly, but...

The coroner said he always wondered what human flesh tastes like.

Still no explination why Hoyt and Andy are unaffected.

Because Bill can't drink Maryanne's blood he assumes he can't defeat her. Um...limited in attacks, there, Bill.

Did Rogue absorb Storm's memories?

Will this season end with the destruction of Sunnydale...I mean...uh...Bon Temps? STAY TUNED!

Read the books. It comes out in either book 6 or 7. Whatever you do, do NOT go to wikipedia like I did when I started out. The first couple sentences spoiled this revelation.

YES! With just one exception, the most recent one (in my opinion) ... The others are awesome, and there are at least three more that are coming out (per her contract), but there could be more. There are also short stories that tie directly into the books. But if I were you, I wouldn't even try to go collecting all the anthologies they're in, because next month, Charlaine is getting her own antho, with all the short stories included. Way cheaper.

I laughed so hard during the "Jason as the god" thing

Great episode...speeding down to the end though :(

I can't wait for the Queen!

Oh and the books, IMO, suck hard. Harris can't write. Period.

Love the show though because Ball is a genius :techman:

And can Bill get any hotter then how he looked walking into the Queen's lair?

Gave it four stars (since there was no 4 1/2)

Loved Jason tonight. Tara's mom tried to come through, nice work. Since I've read the books, years ago on the early one, I know what Sookie's heritage is, will be interesting to see how soon they bring it in here.

My, my, my she has some powerful dreams...fan, fan, fan. ;)

Enjoying this seasonvery much...ahh, Sam's tush. :D

Who is Claudia?

I wondered why Bill just could move fast and rip her head off?

Spoilers

Claudine is her fairy godmother. Seriously. She is a fairy, wings and all. But she has a day job, too. She is part of a set of triplets, Claudine, Claudia, and Claud. Claudia, we never really meet; we find out about the last two because Claudia has been murdered, and Sookie is brought in to help find out who killed her.

I read something from the small synopsis of the Season Two finale on SpoilerTV, which makes me think that Eric, not Bill, may be secretly working for Sophie-Ann and that the reason why he's so interested in Sookie is a part of whatever plan she cooked up concerning her.

Well that could make things much more interesting for season four. Hmmm ... I like it, if it comes to pass.

Maybe Sophie Ann was the mysterious woman hiding in the bushes in the first episode watching Sookie trying to rescue Bill from the people who were trying to drain him of his blood. Maybe she had a hand in making that chain go around the husband's neck the way it did.

I seriously doubt it was her ... had to be Claudine.
