There are plenty of people here who no longer are that into Trek. They stay for the community that has grown over the years. One doesn't have to even watch Trek to enjoy themselves here as there are plenty of non-Trek forums. Such as
Miscellaneous
TNZ
SF & F (and its subforums)
TV and Media (and its subforums)
Science and Technology
plenty to keep one amused if one isn't all that into Trek.
The real Miss Chicken is one of my three cats. She was born with just three legs. and is black. One day when I was browsing the net I came across the picture that I know used as an avatar. The picture looked like a three legged black cat and I thought it was perfect accompliment to my user name.
Thanks guys, due to your help and suggestions I managed to post 35 times yesterday and my average post count has gone from 6.05 to 6.06.
I was thinking about posting a fuck-you thread in every forum on the board, complete with a picture of my cock doctored to look like a dragon.
God, my ex sent me an email filled with pictures of a guy who'd gotten his junk tattooed to look like Puff the Magic Dragon. Amazing work if it was real, but fuckin' scary.

I'm browsing with my two-and-a-half-year-old daughter on my lap. I clicked this thread to read the latest post. It jumped straight to Middle Earther's post. As I scrolled up to the top to navigate back to Misc my daughter started pointing at the screen and saying "I wan watch dat."
After a couple rounds of "No honey, that's just a picture. There's nothing to watch," followed by frustrated repetitions of "I wan watch dat," I finally figured it out.
She had glimpsed Shameless's Professor Farnsworth avatar as it quickly scrolled by. She is now happily watching Futurama. Apparently girlfriend has good taste and good eyes.
