music you would listen to during sex?

I think this music thing is going to be my new ongoing thread, until I get bored with them. It's a fun way to talk about music and ourselves or maybe a issue as well.

Anyways I have never had sex. I think I might have mentioned this once, before. According to tv and movies though, it seems that having music playing in the background is something that people like to do during sex. At least it works for fictional characters so I asume it also must work for real people as well.

I should also note that I might go crazy and break your legs if you pick Barry White. Barry White would actually make me impotent because I couldn't help but think about how big a cliche it is to have Barry White, playing in the background. :)

Anyways my songs would be

Do me one more time= Captain and Tennile

Wicked Game=Chis Issack

Any song by Air Supply.

In your case, Jayson, I'd suggest "Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except Me & My Monkey" by The Beatles.

... or "Vicki Waiting" by Prince:

I told the joke about the woman
Who asked her lover "Why is your organ so small?"
He replied "I didn't know I was playin' in a cathedral."

I've never had music going during this particular activity and I haven't missed it.

The James Bond Theme.

I don't need Barry White. I sound like Barry White. Yeah, baby.

I agree with Mr. Bs perspective on the matter. Now, I suppose it depends on how you listen to music. My favorite thing is to get totally lost in music. I'm also kind of tuning in to the singer's energy. So I think it would be distracting; my focus would be split and I'd be pulled in 2 different directions. That's ok if you're doing housework or something you can effectively do on automatic pilot. Also, you'd kind of have to go along with the beat of whatever music you were listening to and that seems restrictive to me.

Possibly if you and your partner were equally tuned into or loving the music you'd be meeting in that sonic and emotional landscape. If that makes sense. That might work. Or if you listen in a way that the music doesn't take up much of your focus and you're able to keep it in the background.

I do think music would be quite useful prior to..

I don't like music during sex. However, once I had sex with a girl whose ex-bf was still her roommate, and he had Slayer cranked up in the next room so he wouldn't have to hear us.
