How much water do you drink?

I could definitely drink more water throughout the work day. I tend to sip on my coffee for about 2-3 hours (insulated mug, it stays quite warm) and by the time I hit lunch I realize I could probably use a gatoraide or something. In the evening I'll often pound a few glasses or water or crystal light before I go to sleep. I easily have eight glasses of fluid in a day, but not necessarily water (plus I don't like sipping water I like to throw it back).

I drink mostly water, and a little bit of juice. I rarely have soda or coffee. I don't know if I get through the 8 glasses a day though...that sounds like a LOT. I'm not much of a drinker, by which I mean that I don't consume that many liquids in a day. If I have more than a water bottle of water in a day then I start to feel all water bloated. Unless it's been very hot or I've been sick or something, in which case I may drink two water bottles.

I must drink a lot of water to prevent kidney stones (my only other option is to give up Tea, and I can't do that). I have no idea how much I drink in a day, but it's a lot more than I used to and it seems to be working; I haven't had a kidney stone in almost ten years, I think.

Thats a lotta drink! I only drink 2-3 glasses of orange/chocolate milk/coffee per day.. I just don't get thirsty.

Between 120 and 150oz a day on days I work at this time of year since I'm outside fruently at this time of year. This is in addition to at least 32 oz of other liquids.

On my days off or during the winter, it's about 64oz/day.

Whoa. How are you alive?

 I honestly don't know. I think I drink less because, while surfing the web and playing games, I completely forget to drink. Plus it requires walking downstairs, which I usually can't be bothered to do.

You're not the only one, as I mentioned earlier in the thread I drink only about 1-2 bottles of water a day. And probably a glass of juice along with that.

I don't ever drink a lot at once...I take sips from the same bottle throughout the day. I just don't get thirsty, and like I mentioned, I start to feel water bloated if I drink more than that.

Not enough. Every morning my piss runs orange and burns a hole in the toilet bowl.

Later in the day, though, it runs more pale yellow to clear. I usually have about 5 or 10 glasses a day, usually made into tea.

A couple of years ago I figured out that if I don't drink enough water (at least 2L per day) I tend to get head aches quite often. So yeah, now I make sure I drink enough water.

I mostly only drink water, and a lot of it at that. Other beverages really don't appeal to me too much.

Same here, except in my case, health reasons prevent me from drinking any kind of soft drinks (I can't tell you how much I miss cream soda), orange, and apple juice, and most other fruit drinks. About the only non-water beverage I can handle is milk.

As for my water intake, I carry a 64 ounce plastic cup full of it around with me. Usually refill it two to four times every day.

Whoa. How are you alive?

*cough*, as mentioned upthread, the "eight glasses a day" thing is an urban myth. People who can't eat solid food need that, and if you're working in hot environments and sweating a lot, you might need more, but most people can make do with a lot less.
