How is your colon?

I'm considering it. While the infomercial I saw seems to be a bit of a scam (the very first thing they do on their website it prompt you for your credit card!), I was definitely intrigued by the whole idea. It seems worth investigating.

Go with Super Colon Blow. It's like eating 10,000 bowls of regular Colon Blow.

But just make sure you stock up on the air freshner...and matches..plenty o' matches....

And the title of the thread is makes it pretty obvious what it's about, so nobody should be surprised.

Nope, not that obvious. Before I actually read the original post, I was all set to respond, "Fine, thanks. Sharing a key w/ the semi-colon, as usual." How disappointing. I LOVE talking about punctuation! LOL

If anyone is pooping less than once or twice a day in here they need to get checked. Fecal matter contains dead bacteria and other harmful waste toxins. If its just sitting around it releases harmful toxins back in to your body. Thats why your body is processing food waste and coming out your butt. If you have a "movement" every other day or a few times a week. THIS IS BAD!

Your bowel movements should be clay like and never hard. Read up

And keep on A "movin"

The only time I've ever needed to go more than once a day was when I was sick. I go every other day, but keep in mind I eat less food than most people (I usually skip breakfast and lunch unless I'm really hungry or I wake up early enough).

Breakfast AND lunch? How remarkably unhealthy.

Are you a man? I've never heard of a man skipping meals like this....they just can't do it?!?!?!?

Are you a man? I've never heard of a man skipping meals like this....they just can't do it?!?!?!?

I'm a man, yes. I don't have any kind of eating disorder, I just don't have any appetite. I can go for a couple of days without feeling hungry. If I wake up past lunch time I just wait until dinner to eat, and if I've never really been a lunch person. As a result my BMI is like 17.5. I've got no idea why my appetite is so low, but even when I eat lots I don't gain any weight and I'm not losing any weight like this so I don't care.

Because my body was never intended to synthesize or metabolize that natural solution either.
So all the people that have used aloe vera through the ages should have died or suffered like dogs all the time? :wtf:
I don't get it.

No, but they may have suffered from any number of complications or side effects, immediately or later in life. The thing is, with many of these natural cures, you just don't know.
Exactly, you just don't know, so please stop acting as if you do know for certain.

Actually, my point was that the same arguments Niorah used against artificially synthesized medication apply to 'natural cures', and often more so.
Still waiting for the definitive data about this statement of yours here.

Niorah said:
Nope, no groups, just common sense. Which before the invention of controlled groups did a good job of keeping the species alive for a few thousand years.

With an average life span of about forty-five years.
Which is probably what mother nature had intended as a decent life span for us to live.

And that's my business. I don't bash your personal choice, you don't bash mine, we're all friends.
That argument applies to politics, religion, philosophy, cars, art, sports, pretty much any field where it's difficult to definitively separate 'correct' beliefs from 'incorrect' beliefs.
Ah, holders of ultimate truths, you gotta love 'em. :techman:
First, that argument applies to -everything-.
Second, honestly, are you really trying to bash the use of things you can find in nature in favour of artificial chemicals? :wtf:

I don't know who you work for, but if it's Bayer or Wyeth, they should pay you double just for the effort and passion.

"And that's all I have to say about that", I don't like going around in verbal circles, wasting my time. I gave the OP my advice, now if you have some good advice for him too, go right ahead, since you haven't mentioned anything of real good use for his problem until now.

Psyllium husks (taken as Metamucil orange flavor, once a day) have worked for me. For the person who poo-pooed :) this approach by equating it to a magic pill, I disagree. I have a relatively healthy diet and eat lots of veggies, but I do not like the taste of bread or cereal, so I find it difficult to get enough fiber through normal means.

Psyllium has reduced my ablution time from 30-45 minutes to around 10 minutes. The only drawback is I miss that alone quiet time for catching up on my reading. :)

Well I really wish I had this no appetite problem.

How is your colon?

Hold on... I'll hook up the webcam...

Just what exactly are you into young man?
