I know this thread is somewhat tongue in cheek, but damn.... I do my best not to "judge" at first site... can't say that a visceral, immediate reaction doesn't happen, but my rational side usually kicks in.

IIRC it was built to same dimensions by using the same blueprints from the series. Filming techniques can do wonders.

^ The floor where the chairs are is lower on the "real" Enterprise. It's probably like that to make photographs easier to take. The TOS bridge at The Exhibition in Detroit had a similar "closer together" layout.
