uh... no poll? Are we just submitting them as a reply?

Nehrys and Mistral. Almost voted for garak's... just couldn't quite get myself to vote for two spoonhead stories in one month...

Kidding... There were alot of good ones this month, it was hard to pick.

Nerys and trampledamage got my votes. Two very different stories. Nerys' was touching and haunting as to be expected. Really had to feel for poor Berat.

Trampledamage wrote a real fun episode with the nuCrew with some fab dialogue, especially McCoy.

Narrowly missing out was Mistral. I had to feel for poor Sanjay, about to take command of a new ship and opts to call it quits on his marriage. [Sorry Mistral - tough choices this time round]

My votes this month go to...

PSGarak--what a debut! And supporting my fellow Cardassian, of course. ;)

KM13 presented a VERY powerful, short vignette. I have to say that's probably the most concise and powerful thing I've read in awhile--and I voted for him as well.

trampledamage--you got very, VERY close to getting a vote...you actually managed to redeem nuScotty somewhat, and you made an actual character out of Keenser.

Mistral also did pretty well, but unfortunately...Sanjay dug himself that hole and I couldn't really feel sorry for him.

That's good enough for me :techman:

I'm having a really hard time figuring out my votes. Got to think some more.

Nerys Ghemor and Mistral.

IMHO they were the best, though as others have said it was a close call...for some.

I think this has been the most difficult month to vote on. The stories were all very good and also very different, so it was difficult to choose between them.

Eventually I went for Kaziari and KobayashiMaru13.

Yay! I got a vote! *Does a happy dance*

I am now satisfied.

I was surprised once I had voted that you hadn't got one before - yours is a very good story. But so are most of the others!

I think the Cardassians are winning this month though... ;)

Oh, I've come to the conclusion a few months ago that I won't win. It would be great if I do, but I feel that if I get hung up in trying to win that I won't be able to tell a good story. And besides, isn't that the whole point of writing anyway? To tell a story?

One for Kaz-your entry impressed the hell out of me and-despite a noticeable predjudice towards Cardassians lately(let's face it-Nerys's stories rock and have Influenced Many around here) that tends to put them into an almost "most-favored" status automatically, I gave my other vote to PSGarak. Anyone wondering why can read my review of his story. Damage-man, you had it 'till I read that. As for the rest-ridiculously good entries this month. I'm finding myself having to devote more planning and plotting time as of late just to remain in the field of competition with y'all. Everyone-hats off to jobs well done!

ed.-um, I had to take off my shoes and socks to double check but I count an odd # of votes, meaning someone still has one vote. Nothing explicit in the instructions about 2 votes but everyone else cast 2.

Actually I don't think it's ever been compulsory that you have to vote for two. Just that you can if you want to. If you think only one story is worth voting for, I think you should be allowed to just vote for one.
