I wasn't posting "a funny video". I was posting a video to the man I aspire to be like. I want to be like that guy, I want to be able to do what he does, I wanna be as healthy and fit as that guy.

If the OP justifies the need for a thread, the thread will stay. You can't just put a question in a thread title then have the OP say "Well?"

I would say in this case, the OP didn't justify this thread, but the subsequent responses caught the apparently implicit tone of the thread in spite of that. As a result, the benefit of the doubt was given.

Let's not make a rule of it, but let's also avoid getting around having to post videos in the video thread by throwing in something like, "I wanna be like this guy." We just don't want to see someone posting a link to a funny video, for example, and saying, "What's the funniest thing you've seen today? For me, it's this."

It shouldn't have been merged at the point it was, because there were two pages of serious responses.

Anything else about this action can be discussed via PM. The topic has survived a weak start, an erroneous thread merge and a separation. It'd be a shame to derail it now.
