Dollhouse Season Premiere Casting *Spoiler*

I read a casting spoiler for the first two episodes of Dollhouse's second season on SciFi Wire.

Battlestar Galactica star Jamie Bamber will guest-star in the season-two premiere episode of Fox's Dollhouse, joining his former Battlestar castmate Tahmoh Penikett, who is a regular.

:techman:

I'm pretty happy about this casting.

I love Bamber. And having just seen Epitaph One, I'm actually excited to see some more Dollhouse.

What do you guys think?

This should be interesting. I'm a big fan of Dollhouse and can't wait to see what's in store this season. I'm already planning to buy Season One on DVD, so this is good news. :D

Glad to hear Penikett is coming back. I thought he'd got another job.

As for Epitaph One, I have not seen it. But I'm glad it's getting buzz. I am thusly more excited about the DVDs.

I don't really care for Dollhouse, but Bamber was the one decent part of nuBSG. I'll tune in for him.

There are also rumors circulating that Summer Glau will be joining the cast midseason according to TVGuide.

^A fan campaign that actually worked this time coupled with Fox showing perhaps a little more faith than they did with Firefly and, quite frankly, not having much else to fill the slot.

The show, for those who didn't get past episodes 3 or 4, gets quite good around six, because that's where FOX quit messing around with Joss' scripts and directing and let him do his own thing. Me, I love the show.

Plus it's damn cheap and can be made even cheaper while gaining in quality, as demonstrated by Epitaph One.

Looking forward to the Helo/Apollo reunion.

Btw, Alexis Denisof will be in a few episodes too.

No, it still sucked after that too, because the premise sucked.
But I won't continue whining about I show I don't watch anymore.

So, good for everybody here who liked the show, despite it sucking so hard. ;)

There's something wrong with this statement...but I don't quite know what it is. :shifty:

Well, I meant I'm just not going to comment on this anymore (which I now have done also...), not that I'll immediately stop whining within that post. ;)

Yes, looking forward to that from everything I've heard.

I'm not sure I'd say "quite good", but it certainly was heading in the right direction.

The renewal was basically Fox betting on this being another Firefly. Which it isn't, by far......but it's still better than most other TV, so I'm not complaining.

The casting in Dollhouse bothers me. Aside from Ballard and Whiskey, I can't help but feel every other character should have been played by someone else.
