The Swine flu vaccine's dirty little secret exposed

because your posts are aimed at me, i'm not going to ignore posts aimed directly at me.
Please do not aim any further posts at me, it's done and dusted. My opinion on the matter is made, accept it or don't accept it. Simple as that.

Good day.

Then stop replying?

Once again... as several people have pointed out... you have made claims, in a science subforum, that you have failed to provide any sort of actual evidence for. If that's what you believe, great. But if you can't deal with people asking you to provide evidence for your assertions then that's something you need to figure out how to handle, not the rest of us.

Hello! I have asked YOU to provide ME with evidence also, where is it? i'm waiting.
Prove to me that in todays society that fit healthy eating people need vaccines. Prove to me that they don't put dangerous toxic chemicals into vaccines.

I'm waiting.

Vaccines are done for various reasons.

Most childhood vaccines are applied for fatal/debilitating illnesses (diptheria, polio, tetanus). Some are given because, while the disease isn't often fatal, it has the potential to be--measles, chickenpox, and the like. Chickenpox in particular can resurface as shingles, which anyone who has that can attest is a very unpleasant condition.

No matter how healthy you are, you aren't invulnerable to all disease, otherwise healthy people would never get sick and die. You know who was struck down by the 1918 flu pandemic? Healthy young people.

The efficacy of vaccination has been proven time and time again. Polio has been effectively eliminated. Diseases that used to kill children every year are now held in check. Debilitating viruses that we can vaccinate against strike fewer and fewer people now.

Yes, some bugs have evolved to make vaccines less effective. It only means we need better vaccines.

And I must say, I don't like the implication that people who aren't in the best health somehow deserve to die. That's the vibe I'm getting from your "healthy people don't need vaccines, so why do we have them?" routine.

Healthy people DO need vaccines. It's to prevent them from getting sick with certain diseases the body is not so well-equipped to fight, or which have serious complications.

But by all means, skip your next tetanus booster and smash your hands into rusty nails. Let us know how well you fight it off.

And once again... that is not how science works.

You have made an assertion. Either back it up with evidence or keep waving your hands around... your choice!

^ you back your end up, you are making assertions too that vaccines are safe and toxin free. Prove it.

Sorry, that flip doesn't work. I haven't actually made an assertion of any sort... I'm simply asking you to back up yours. Considering that I am genuinely interested in seeing what evidence you have, I really don't understand your refusal to provide it.

Once again... this is the basic way in which science progresses. Someone makes an assertion, evidence is provided and if it's compelling enough people accept it. No evidence and you can't expect people to accept it, can you?

This isn't directed at anyone specifically, but can we do something other than repeatedly beg each other for proof? Everyone has clearly made their point about what they want, but this back-and-too banter isn't going anywhere.

Perhaps we could move onto discuss the statistical risks of the vaccination vs the risks of the disease.

Should we individually have a right to choose between those risks?

Even if the average survival rates are significantly improved through vaccination, what are the ethics of it being mandatory?

Have these risks been well established? If the vaccine is new, have we quantified any long term side-effects of it to justify mass use of it?

While I agree that this runaround is silly, I have to wonder what the hell you think you're doing. Asking the other side for their evidence is fine, but refusal to provide your own just makes you look all the more wrong. You have to know that, so I'm left wondering what your intent is in dragging this out.

That, and the obvious fact that it's impossible to prove anything is completely safe. Reasonable safety can be shown, but not absolute. So you're not just refusing to support your position, you're asking the other side to do the impossible. People stop taking you seriously real fast with that approach.

Perhaps it's not such a bad thing, forcing vaccines to people who are ignorant of the facts. I'm not saying I endorse it, but I can see the attraction. Some people really are too ignorant for their own good; what if someone disallows their kids the swine-flu vaccine, and their kids attract swine-flu?

The world's population is far too large for this planet to support. We are running out of Water, oil, and Golden-age comic books. Its time to thin the herd so that our grand children can enjoy the fruits of this world, and the writing genius of Jerry Shuster and Bob Kane.

You can fit the entire world population into Australia and each man woman and child can have a house (not flat) of their own each and a garden around every single one of these houses.
That leaves the rest of the world outside of Australia to grow food.

Don't believe me? go do the Math.

Also since kids wont have houses of their own anyway and would be living with parents (most families) that leaves even more room.

Over-population is a myth and food shortages are not a result of so called over population.

And yet, you say that you've avoided them? Your facts are uncoordinated.

Well, if someone doesn't have all the faculties to begin with, it's understandable how such a prospect would be frightening. You and me could stand to lose a few IQ points; we wouldn't be that much worse off for it. ;) All depends on how much you've got to begin with. :D

What about the lack of golden age comic books, Mr. smarty!!??
