Ladies&gentlemen...**Who is the sexest star of the film***...

Who is the sexest star of the film

I voted Spock (natch - I've always been a Spock girl, and goodness knows the new Spock is a worthy successor to the original Spock), but also for "other" in honor of Pike, who was definitely swoon-worthy, IMO.

The thing that none of the young guys has is a really fabulous voice. There's nothing wrong with their voices, but when you compare them to, say, Pike and the original Spock...well, what can I say? I'm a sucker for a beautiful, deep, masculine voice!

True, true. Even though I did not vote for 'other' since the poll said the determine who is the one sexiest star (even though the OP actually voted for two people :shifty:) I have to say that Pike's voice is swoon-worthy. But original Spock's voice is still the sexiest of all. :adore:

i have to disagree about none of them having a sexy voice. nimoy is the ultimate winner, but i really think quinto's is very nice. not as deep, but lyrical and with a lovely timbre.
actually, i DLed the audio book just to hear him talk. i find myself missing half of what's going on cause i'm just listening to his voice. tehe....

You're right that his voice can be very lovely... except when he's talking fast. But I have to say I find his Sylar voice sexier. :adore:

Oh, sure - Quinto has a very nice voice (though I can't say I find it quite as distracting as you do, Diftor - you mad romantic fool, you! ;) ). But DevilEyes is right - nobody beats Nimoy, voice-wise. Well, any-kind-of-wise, IMO, but definitely when it comes to voice.

how is this? it's all one guy. different presentation, perhaps. speaking for myself, my love for his voice is unconditional. ;) <sigh> ....i am definitely a romantic fool, despite my best efforts....

Aye! and Amen! *feels swoony thinking about 2 Spocks . . . *

Thanks Jeri for bringing this poll to my attention. I don't understand how Kirk can be behind both Spock and McCoy! I added my vote for Kirk, but more must be done to bring this thread to reality, that Captain Fine is the finest specimen in the entire movie :)

He is undoubtedly a cute boy. But "finest"? Matter of opinion, Captain Fine, matter of opinion!

Yes, I've seen it - y'all like to post that one a LOT. ;) Sorry, he still looks like a boy to me. A handsome boy, but a boy. Give him 10 years or so.

Cubbie had it as her avatar. I have posted it one time before this.

Some people may have the opinion that he seems like a boy to them; but as a matter of fact, he is no boy -- and some of us are well aware of that.

Yeah, I think I was remembering Cubbie's avatar.

Jeri, I don't mean any insult to Chris Pine when I say he looks like a boy to me. I literally mean that he, well, looks like a boy to me. He looks so young, in fact, that rather than thinking "Oooh, he's so hot," my impulse is to pat him on the head and say, "What a nice looking boy!" These things are all pure personal impression, you know.

At least I haven't quite reached the stage of a friend, who's a few years older and has grown sons to boot. Her yardstick as to whether someone is just too boyish looking is if instead of "Oooh, he's so hot," she finds herself thinking, "What a nice looking boy! His mother must be so proud!" She's not a Trek fan (or a scifi fan at all, in fact - she's anti-scifi, if I remember correctly), so I don't know if Chris Pine has this effect on her. But he might!
