A Monday Puzzler: "Beloved Aunt"

Zulu Romeo

World Famous Starship Captain
Admiral
One of the recent Misc. weekend fixtures has been missing from our lives this weekend... so until we wait patiently for it to reappear, here's a puzzle for you. As always, do NOT post your answer in this thread: instead, PM it to me.

As it's my first one, I've made it extremely easy just to break you in gently.

Below is the puzzle. Read carefully, and good luck!

^That's the telephone number of my personal banker in the Caymens, my account number and my pin. How did you get this information :shifty: Curse you Zee *transfers money immediately to Switzerland*

:wtf:
what's the objective? usually a string of numbers as a puzzle is an alphanumeric substitution cipher, but this one makes no sense

Quick question - is there meant to be a space anywhere in these numbers. vB lobs them in sometimes for the fun of it.

Is "Beloved Aunt" a clue to how to solve the puzzle, or a clue to the answer, or anything?

Now, the space there IS unintentional - these are uninterrupted strings of numbers, of which there are two sets as you can see - one longer than the other, one arguably more important than the other for the purposes of this puzzle.

And that's probably the only clarification or clue I can give at this time. When you realise how to solve it, you'll find out how easy it is.

Oh, and one more thing: also send to me by PM how you solved the puzzle - so that others can work it out for themselves.

It means that if anyone spots a mistake in the puzzle, I can put it down to a "typo." ;)

But seriously, while it can mean anything you want it to, I did put it there for a reason - it may or may not be relevant to the puzzle. :)

I typed these numbers into my tv remote and I ended up with deal or no deal. My beloved Aunt watches deal or no deal too, so I think I'm onto something. :D

I feel that the puzzle has too many ways of attacking it. Any method I think of is both time consuming to test and the puzzle gives me no feedback. At least with a maze you know when you've hit a dead end. But here we don't, so we don't know when to stop one method and try another. It's entirely down to luck whether I will think of the correct method or not. :sigh:

I'm in a generous mood, so some more info:

It is a code to break, one that quite a lot or people can solve without realising it too much. A certain tool will help a lot.
