I think there is a large number of us longing to throw ourselves at the screen. Filmgasma?
BTW, I think it was Jeri who commented in another thread that I was seriously invested in Trek. (Maybe it was that whole thing about the major entertainment system purchase). You know, some folks would make a major TV purchase just so they can watch something inane- like Super Bowl games. I however have my priorities straight. McCoy and Pike on my future big screen plasma TV, Bose sound system. Plus my B5 DVD's will be f@&king awesome on that system. Anyone in the Nashville area is welcome to come join me when I get the thing installed.
YAY! I finally have a job that will let me contemplate such purchases. I may have champagne tastes, but at least I now have a Pinot Grigio budget- 'cuz I really loathe beer.

For some reason, all this reminds me of "Purple Rose of Cairo..." Has anybody other than me seen that movie...
I saw the movie 20 times (you have my permission to use as a comparison to put yours into perspective), and I give my husband big props on that. He went with me for all but about five of those. I think it will be a great memory that supersedes the economy.

At least to hear people comment on his underwear...
