I'm probably one of the only active female posters not on the list. I'm not sure what to think about that, honestly. Whatever. I've made it onto a few lists of cool people other posters want to meet, and I've made it into the mutual admiration society.
I'll admit that I sent in a list for this thread. I don't know what either person looks like. It was more of a "hey, I think you're cool and would like to get to know you better, and maybe something flirty might come of it" sort of thing, instead of a "declaration of undying love" sort of thing.

I haven't shown up on the list and I think I'm a pretty regular poster around here. I'm not too terribly upset since I am taken but people seemed to respond positively last time I posted my photo in the picture thread. That was quite a while ago though.

Comments like this really aren't helpful. There are plenty of female posters not on this list, and it's silly to imply otherwise. And you know what? Even though a list like this doesn't mean anything, it can still hurt to be left off. There are probably a few people slightly upset already, and something like this is just insensitive.

Anything like this will always be a popularity contest, and it only succeeds in hurting the feelings of those not picked. I know it can be argued that you shouldn't care about what other people think, but it's unnatural for people to hold that extreme self-assurance. Regular posters who see they're not on the list will (likely) feel hurt. It's human nature.

Nothing too revealing just perhaps things like how many straight, how many "omnisexual" - some people perhaps sent in Trektoday or TNZ as love interests... that sort of thing.
