Amy eh, and she's Scottish which means we get the accent- Yes!! (assuming the Mirror are right) Of course we don't know if she's from the present day, the past of the future. I don't think Amy is an esspecially modern name so let's not rule anything out. At least if she is from now she's isn't a Londoner! (thank goodness!).

I'm guessing a groovy sixties chick...but only so I can imagine Karen in a short skirt and go-go boots

I was wondering, and sorry if this has been covered already. It doesn't it seem a little bit of a coincidence that both Matt and Karen are in Cardiff together, the week before the new Doctor Who shoots? Does this mean we'll see a little bit of Captain Jack in series 5? Afterall Torchwood is based there, maybe The Doctor convinces him to return.

Of course, it could all just be a coincidence.

Off topic - fuck me Karen is hot. I'm watching S5 purely on the basis of her.

Good old Mirror! They got that from an old DWM when Moffat was talking about a genric companion and used that name. Now it could still turn out to be right but in that case why all the secrecy up to now if it was actually revealed months ago?
