General Hospital (which I watched for years but stopped when it became the Sonny and Jason show)

I'll confess to watching "General Hospital" daily from sometime in 1997 through maybe 2000? 2001? Eventually the show became dreadful and I had no desire to keep watching. I find long-time soap opera viewers confusing. How do they stick with it? The cast changes constantly with actors coming and going, the plot lines tend to border on ridiculous and also take 6-12 months to drag out, only to fizzle in the end with no real sense of closure. One day in the life of a soap opera takes two weeks to show on the air. There's a lot of talking and little plot development. Writers lack any sense of consistency, continuity or talent. What's the point?!

Anyways... I confess to watching "Grey's Anatomy." I'm a guy and I genuinely like the show. It won't crack my list of favorites, but I do enjoy it. I'm also desperately in love with Katherine Heigl, so that helps, too.

And I was really impressed with GH NIGHT SHIFT when Robert came back for that show...

Yeah, I don't really have what you'd call a guilty pleasure. If I like it, I like, and you can go straight to hell if you somehow think I should be embarrassed.

And yeah you pretty much sum it up for me (especially Addison, I love her.). That and I almost always laugh several times an episode. No other show on TV these days makes me do that.

Well, I think it's neat when a guy not only watches a 'chick show' (makes us girls think there is something there besides that whole male bravado thing...like you might even have a soul and everything ), but is confident enough in himself to admit it.

But the thing is, 'chick show' or not, Grey's is a good show. Now granted, this past season was not the best (as much as I ADORE Jeffrey Dean Morgan and want to have his children, they really should not have done that extended Denny storyline, just to boost ratings with a hugely popular character ), but that show has, more than any other in recent memory, made me laugh...and made me cry. And both quite often. Over the years, they have had some truly touching moments, some tremendously sad moments, some sizzling HOT moments, and some hilariously funny moments.

Can't ask more than that from a TV show.

I'm not exactly sure why I watch Keeping Up With The Kardashians. It generally has all the things I hate. Reality TV that is entirely scripted. People living lives of privilege. Dumb morals at the end. There must be some reason the show attracts me though.

I don't exactly feel guilty about this, but sometimes I think I ought to, and that's that I l-o-o-o-o-o-ve What Not to Wear. Love it. Yes, I know it's shallow, but I love it anyway. So shoot me. At least it's about buying clothes (which is something I actually do) and shoes (which I do a LOT) and make-up (which I also actually do, though not as often as I buy shoes).

I have plenty soul thank you And yeah I've been accused of being a secret woman at times. A female friend of mine stands by that I'm a better woman than she'll ever be.

And yes I agree, it is a good show. Now with ER well and truly done it's one of the few big medical shows left. And throughout I'd say Grey's has and always has had a big heart at it's core. The writers may not always know what they're doing but the actors, directors and editors sure as hell do and it really makes the show a keeper in my mind as long as they keep that, keep us crying and laughing. And yes, lusting, for what would do without hot cast members (of both genders)?

I also like the channel which shows COPS and SPEEDERS. Cops is fun to watch just to see how STUPID the human race is sometimes. Sometimes, I hate to say it, but I wish the cops would just save some of us by putting some of these drunken drivers out of their misery by offing them right there on the screen.

Well, if you want a more tolerable show with Katharine Heigl, watch Roswell. Granted, she's hardly a favorite of mine on that show (coming in distantly behind most of the cast as a favorite), but I'd personally feel less guilty about loving that show than Gray's.

Anyway... Guilty pleasures... There are a few shows I'm ashamed to even admit the names of that are on TLC (and I hate reality). It helps if it's about 2 or 3 in the morning and it's deciding between that or the Magic Bullet infomercials.

Speaking of infomercials... I have an addiction to Time-Life oldies infomercials.

Sometimes boredom will push me far enough to watch Full House, The Golden Girls and The Nanny. I don't brag about those ones. Well, I'm not too ashamed of Full House (I can pass it off as part of my list of TVLand addictions). Speaking of TVLand, hoo, boy. I watch a lot of those shows. I just watched every episode of I Love Lucy, The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour, Too Many Girls, The Long, Long Trailer and Forever, Darling. Feeding my crush on Desi Arnaz. Several years ago I watched I Dream Of Jeannie and Bewitched religiously every day. Not to mention Happy Days, Mork & Mindy, Leave It To Beaver, The Munsters, The Addams Family, Family Ties, The Wonder Years, etc...

Ah... I know one that is definitely a guilty pleasure... Phil Of The Future on the Disney Channel. Alright. I admit it. I think Raviv Ullman is one of the only recent Disney kids (though he was definitely pushing the age limit for that network) that I find marginally hot. The show isn't quite as embarrassing as most of what's on that channel. It even had an inkling of a storyline! GASP!
