Going back to the guy who's worried he got someone pregnant and he could be the father, did you follow up and check with your ex? Why would she get charged with statutory rape? Unless she was much older than you and you were underaged at the time.

Well anonymity is over rated... couldn't she stopped returning my calls, talking to me online, apparently moved too. She was twice my age, I was legal in the UK, I'm fairly sure I was where she lived too, but didn't know that at the time and I think people generally assume it's 18 in America.
I did check with a few others who knew her online, and she'd told no one else that she was pregnant she did tell them she got married to some other guy though.

It would've been good to be able to validate her claim (whether or not she was really pregnant and you might have been the biological father). Then again, maybe she saw some other guy around that time and got pregnant afterwards.

Yeah, not to mention the due date wouldn't be 10.5 months even if she did go overdue that long, which she wouldn't because she'd have been induced first. I just assume if she really did get pregnant it was to another guy and being a long distance relationship she just ignored me, then fobbed me off when I managed to contact her.
But it's just one of those things that for time to time I wonder about. I guess worry is too strong of a word.
