"Unknown Life-Form" found in sewer system

Fascinating. We know that sewers are full of nutrients and genetic material and gamete cells, so it wouldn't be surprising if one day a new life form did emerge down there.

If that's what this is, as opposed to a mutated jellyfish that someone has flushed, then it would offer a fascinating insight into biology and evolution. :)

It would be interesting to get a dna profile of it and see what its closest relatives are.

I wonder if it ever went to New York, met Ford Prefect and discussed the meaning of beauty?

I actually had a dream about a similar creature several years ago. I remember it had elements of the season 2 opener of LOST in it.

Definitely weird.

I was almost expecting several tentacles to lash out and pull the hapless cameraman toward the "lifeform".

I was almost expecting it to lash out at the camera and lay eggs. Reminds me of something the X-Files did in early seasons.

I was almost expecting it to lash out and perform an old-style song and dance number for the camera. But that's just me. :bolian:
