I have gone to the site twice and have encountered trojans there. This is not a good thing. Could someone contact the webmaster and have him/her run virus scans on that site.:eek::eek: This is not a joke, everytime that I have gone there my computer starts running an online scan for viruses and trojans and they are there. I hope that this helps and prevents others from there computers from being infected.:eek::eek:

What is your antivirus software?

I have cruised that site with several AVs and they have encountered no virii or trojans, no web bugs or embedded image spyware.

I use Trend Micro Internet Security. My computer is operating on Windows Vista with the latest updates.

I browse there to and have never had any problems until last night and early this morning.

Well, Trend Micro is pretty good. Hm.

I checked it using: AVG, Norton, Avast!, Panda and BitDefender. Then I used Spybot S&D, Ad-Aware, SpywareSweeper.
I use Windows 7.

I experienced this problem on my laptop just this past weekend - I use Trend Micro with XP. Previously it got into my desktop from THIS SITE running Norton with XP Pro.

I have a pop-up blocker too and it won't stop the darned "Anti-virus Pro" popping onto the screen every 15-20 seconds.

I haven't been to Trekmovie all weekend, so it had to come from here.

Well, you both have Trend Micro, so you may be getting false positives.

Is it really a good idea to have all those AntiVirus Programs on your computer?

I run multiple OSes.

MacOS X (which has none of course)
Windows 7
Windows XP

Has anyone tried to notify the webmaster of Trekmovie?:eek::eek: This could seriously turn into a bad problem. I really like that site for all of it's information and up to date details on everything Star Trek.

^ Have you? I haven't because I haven't experienced any of these issues. Perhaps you should, just in case he doesn't know about it.

I would, but, everytime I go to the website my computer starts the online virus scan and I keep finding more viruses and trojans. Could someone PM me his or her email address and I will email him or her the situation??
