He was pretty silly. Conan was flabbergasted that Shatner didn't do the vulcan sign. He also told a story how he gave a story he was speeding at over 100 mph and got caught with his Captain Kirk uniform on. Then he flipped off Conan after he did the live long and prosper sign.

Yep, he's said on several occasions that he doesn't drink. IIRC, it's also mentioned in Up Til Now, particularly when discussing his previous wife's alcoholism.

Yes, I've read that, too. Probably one reason he and Nimoy are such pals - Leonard kicked drink years ago and it's good to have someone sober to pal around with. Wish I could find a non-drinker to hang with, LOL!

Too bad I couldn't have given it to you. We bought six bottles of Leininger's Wheat about five years ago, drank one and gave the rest to the neighbor's 20-something son -- who has always been friendly to us since then, incidentally.
