I don't own an American flag. And unless I start getting Flag Day off of work, I am probably not going to pay much attention to it.

The day it becomes politically incorrect to fly the American flag IN America will be the day I finally say "screw this" and move to Australia.

Why in the hell wouldn't it be PC?

To answer the other question, my dad flies the flag every day on a pole in our front lawn every day and takes it down at sundown.

How would it help your situation to move to Australia? In Australia you are considered a little odd if you fly an Australian flag, or any flag for that matter, on your front lawn.

About the only time the average Australian waves a flag is at inernational sporting events or at Anzac Day marches.

We used to have a flag that was always out there, so it got pretty battered. We haven't gotten a replacement flag so we don't fly one. I have a Mexican flag in my room ...

The Brits aren't great flag-flyers. But, I did enjoy seeing all the England flags being fluttered during the last World Cup. Everywhere you looked there were England flags.

I haven't been to the US but when I see it on tv and in films I'm always impressed with the flag-flying over there, in classrooms, public buildings and private houses.

Er, I never said it would have anything to do with flying a flag. I'd simply be finally fed up with the U.S. and would want to move to Australia...because I like Australia.

Let me know if you need a roommate. I'll be right behind you.

They have awesome cars (with the steering wheels on the wrong side, but still awesome) and that accent on a pretty girl just does a certain something for me. Plus, I hear they dig us American guys.

it is still yes pc to do it.
now why a lot of people who were flying them all the time after 9/11 but who eventually stopped is open to a debate they might be more suited for tnz.
though some will still put them out for like memorial day and 4th of july if not flag day.

I've had an American Flag of some kind in my room since I was a kid; I live by the American Spirit. The only reason that the ideological fashionistas consider it Politically Incorrect is because the Left Wing has allowed the Right Wing to turn it into a symbol of jingoism, rather than Patriotism. But, as a Liberal, I don't let anyone steal my country's symbols away from me.

I don't own a flag, but when I was a kid I displayed a small one

If I had a flag now, and a house, sure I'd display it in the front yard, but i don't have a flag, and i live in an apartment

Ever been to Devon? A lot of the smaller towns there fly both national flags and the Devon flag with a surprising regularity, given the British aversion to flag-flying in general.
