What usernames should NEVER be changed?

I was going to add trampledamage to the list, but I see it's been done. I think JustKate should remain JustKate, too. GodBen also must stay the same. NickInABox's name works on many levels, too. It should stay.

And if anyone cares, I shall remain Praetor. I've only changed once, when I ditched the "Neral" from my original Praetor Neral. (Although I'm sure no one remembers that.)

If I ever did change it, I would probably want to be JohnnySlash. However, I'm too afraid if I change it I'll have second thoughts and someone will take Praetor. Then I won't have my Romulan shtick anymore. :shifty:

I think Bashir's bear was a "he"... but I see no reason why you couldn't go for it anyway. It's a good name! :)

^ Yes. I do remember. She was a very nice person. Big fan of Alexander Siddig. Slightly liberal, had a website she used to advertise called KuSidCity before she changed her name thusly.

I've changed my name only once, and that was towards the beginning of my being here. I'm thinking of changing it again because I've stopped using K-Star pretty much everywhere else.
 
^ You should choose the filthiest one Crusher Disciple, that also sounds like something completely innocuous. May I suggest "Bones Head Nurse"?

Of the opinion that NO ONE should really change their name. In an online environment, where your screen name is really all you have to identify yourself, you become linked to it very quickly. Unless you spam the crap out of the board, and are here constantly, you're throwing away any history or backstory you have. You might think that most people can follow the change, but people that don't come here as much will lose you completely. I know that I've build up opinions on posters (both good and bad), and then they've changed their names and i've lost them. No idea who they are now, even if I see it mentioned occasionally, I just can't keep them straight.

Once you've posted here enough to get a little visability with a screen name, you should keep it. Doesn't matter if your interests (or whims) have changed, or if you picked a name on another board you like better, your screen name is who you are here...
 
I agree. As much as I might enjoy being Johnny Slash, I've grown used to my Romulan-ness. :rommie:

You know, there are two names that I can't believe aren't in use: Robau (or any variants thereof) and something along the lines of t3h aw3s0m3.
