Bertila Damas, the hottest Vulcan in the Universe.

Mr. Scott

Commander
I just saw the episode The Maquis, Part I. The actress who played Sakonna was extremely hot. I know someone here has her as an avatar. I think she is the most beautiful person ever to portray a Vulcan and I would of added her to the show.

Help me out if you can.....................

1.) Is it OK to post pictures? I added a picture on one of my posts and was told not to do this.

2.) I don't know how to do the avatar? Could someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks

Mr. Scott

As far as I know, it's okay to post pictures only as long as you're hosting them yourself on a site like photobucket or flickr, etc.

Linking from webpages that are not yours and using their bandwidth (a.k.a. hotlinking) is prohibited.

I'm the one who has her as an avatar. :bolian:

I just thought the idea of a Vulcan in the Maquis is cool. It's only logical. :vulcan:

I agree she was an attractive Vulcan. However I don't see the "logic" in joining the Maquis.

Well, the logic goes something like this:

The Federation and Cardassia entered into a treaty that gave some Federation colonies to Cardassia, and some Cardassian colonies to the Federation. The colonists chose not to leave, and the respective governments consented to let them stay, with the provision that they would be disarmed. (TNG- Journey's End) At some point, the Cardassian colonists took up arms against the Federation colonists. (DS9- The Maquis) The Federation wouldn't defend the colonists, so the colonists started up the Maquis to defend themselves and their land.

Granted, the Maquis should have limited themselves to Cardassian targets, and should have left the Federation alone, but I find it perfectly logical to defend oneself if one's government won't do it.

That is the Maquis's rationale. What is hers? Is she a settler? Does she as a Vulcan have an emotional attachment to a piece of land in what might coined the 24th century equivalent of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict? Vulcans would be pro-eminent domain not pro-insurrection.

Then again, we do know that Vulcans have emotions, they simply suppress them. There are, perhaps, more illogical reasons below the surface, where we can't see them.
