Karl looks especially good in that picture with the brown suit and the picture with the burnt-orange sweater. He must be an "Autumn." Autumns usually have hazel or brown eyes. Their palette is a range of autumn colors, plus a few more.

I noticed that, too, about the Star Trek merchandise at Target. That was pretty annoying.

I'd say it merchandise will be much better organised for the sequel. Toy stores wouldn't have been that interested before this one (Trekkies not usually being in charge of buying stock for the big stores ) but it's a known quantity now, so they'll know it's worth the shelf space for the next one.

At least you folks had a Target that actually stocked the toys. Mine didn't get anything! (The Super Target twenty minutes away did.) You can only find them at ToysRUs and Walmart here. And since I would rather be set on fire than go to Walmart... I bought my stuff at ToysRUs. Actually they still had their huge front display up until a couple of days ago. Now everything has been moved to the aisle display and they also restocked too. It's not labeled though but most of the stuff on that aisle isn't anyway. However they did put the Trek stuff right next to the Star Wars junk which takes up about 75% of the shelf. Old George knows a thing or two about merchandising though. Maybe Paramount/CBS could take a few lessons from him.

For what it's worth, up until about last weekend, the ToysRUs store near me had a separate display for the Trek merchandise, set up facing one of the entrances. They've since moved it, but it appears that they sold most of it.

I know how you feel Astrosmurf, I am not a huge Walmart fan either... I don't like that store, and they are getting ready to build yet another one right down the road here. I'd rather a Target.

At least they opened a new Super Target 5 miles away.

I have a feeling most of the displays are coming down now, it's kind of sad

This is why it's good to have DVDs, books and figures. You can look at them anytime you want

Oh and CD, love the pics!

That one with Karl in the white suit is one of my favorites... so handsome...

^ Trust me folks... Doom is awful with a capital A. However, I am glad to say the only redeeming thing about that train wreck of a film is Karl, beautiful talented Karl. Being a die-hard movie buff and DVD collector I don't let just anything into the house. But I bought a copy of that steaming pile just because of Karl. (He really is good in it though!)

Just an FYI, Playmates is not done with their Trek toy line. We have Wave 2 coming in September and Wave 3 before Christmas. Maybe we will get a few more McCoys.

But the big news of the day is... today is Karl's birthday! Happy Birthday Karl! He is 37.
