Why is Marvel using bad words in a regular imprint?

Nice all.

Is Guardians of the galaxy an exception, or are we going to be seeing the curse words sprouting up across the board? Not that they arn't already there but usually blacked or bleeched out in some way.

Again, I am not thrilled by the swearing per say, but I am overjoyed by the deconstruction of an archaic moral contract.

Now I really need to see Osborn rant about Spider-Man.

Comics aren't for kids anymore. They can't afford em. Hell I can't afford to get as many as I once did with how much the prices are.

But I don't get the double-standard. If you look at something like say Miss Marvel or the Avengers and you'd see just What the %*(% was he thinking or something. Which when I was actually surprised when they were doing that. You obviously knew what the censored word was.

I guess this is just the next evolution.

Can't "mature" simply mean complex, weighty, maybe a bit more violent and "real" but not resorting to just swearing and cussin and showing stuff that you only see in porno flicks

It can't be both?

On a serious note: I'm always glad to see artificial restrictions on creators fall, opening up greater potential. What they do with that potential, of course, will always vary.
