Welcome to the latest avatar contest in the Star Trek: Voyager forum. First up the winners from last week.

There was a three way tie in the Fury episode category.

1. This contest is centered on the Season 6 episode Life Line. The Doctor travels to the Alpha Quadrant to try and cure his terminally-ill creator, Dr Zimmerman.
2. The VOY theme as chosen by ria 75 will be the Voyager's "First Time." When characters (or the ship) are doing, experiencing or even seeing something for the first time.
3. The random theme as chosen by es! will be "Playing Hookey."

The Rules: Avs not to exceed 140x140 px and not be over 70kb in file size. Avs can be static pictures or animated, just don't go over the restrictions posted previously. One av entry per category. The theme must be Voyager related while the random is just that, random from anything. The contest runs on a bi-weekly schedule so entries will be accepted until June 15, 2009 sometime in the evening.

I may pop in from time to time, dependin' on the themes. When I saw the "playin' hooky", I immediately thought of the Jake fishin' scene from DS9 'Emissary'.

I had to think about the rest.

^ I like the two week deadline. It gives me plenty of time to come up with ideas for avatars. But I think 3 days of voting instead of 5 days would suffice.

#1 reminds me of a shell. #2... of the asteroid monster in Empire Strikes Back.

The second one is better, but IIRC, they landed in "The 37s" too.

The shell... Haha! You're right, the second one is beter, but I like the colors in the first one more.

ria, I agree with es! about the avatars you should enter.

ria and es!, I entered my first avatar in the 2x22 Innocence avatar contest a little less than three years ago. So I imagine they actually did start with the pilot.
