Everything you are, is in your brain, you change brains, and you end up with a person waking up asking about "what happened?" because, "I died".

But in reality land ... would a brain transplant even work? I think there may be bodily functions and directing that may get fucked up. Just as someone can reject a new heart or tissues, maybe the body would reject a new brain.

If it were going to be done, it would probably be a brain grown from your own cells in a laboratory. I hear this is already happening with things like bladders. A brain is an entirely different kettle of fish though. Who knows.
