Our ear flaps aren't really all that efficient now. If I were going to get surgery on my ears it would be so I had ears like our whippets which are the most versatile appendages I've seen on any dog.

Having only seen this picture I'll say this is someone trying to look like some sort of elf... it kinda fits better... sure trekkies arent the most normal of people but those guys cosplaying their favourite fantasy universe are the sort I think of when seeing something like this.

That will proven very difficult for people who wanted to having job in the business world when it comes to vulcan or elf ears! It would be cool if people accepted them for who they are, but I suspected that most people are still living in the past. Rather than I find it very sad.
