I wonder what doctors has to said about this. Sure, doctors would raise their eyebrows and question their patients why do they want to be anything like vulcans in star trek! Ah, I didn't think that it was possible! However, how much that cost to having that surgery to get vulcan-like ears??

The ears are not an actual surgery as such. They are mostly not to do with Star Trek/Vulcans either.
They are done by piercers and most of the people doing it want to look like elves
