I didn't know he was in LOTR either, though I had seen both; I was watching along, and then came the look and the voice, and I squinted and exclaimed -- is that Karl Urban?!

He's a good actor and can play many parts. He won't be typecast.

I've loved him since his appearances on Xena and quite frankly think he's gorgeous regardless of his hair color. I thought he was beautiful as Eomer with that long, flowing hair.

He's also the only thing worth watching in Chronicles of Riddick...

I definitely prefer him dark-haired, and my favourite scene is in the hanger bay at the beginning when he turns to go back to get Kirk *happy sigh*

Yes, that was a bit harsh of me - but I keep getting distracted by Karl and his big stick

He's the pretender to the crown of the Necromancers - Macbeth to Thandie Newton's Lady Macbeth.

Here's Karl in Doom! I can't remember anything about the movie except that Karl was in it and so was The Rock. Plus monsters.

I think he looks a little like McCoy in body armor (yays!)
