The biggest disappointment of this excellent movie

TheInsideMan

Commodore
Commodore
Not enough lens flares.

I was disgusted - no, outraged, that I paid good money, earned with blood, sweat and tears - to see a movie which was seriously lacking the holy flares of the lens. :scream::scream::scream:

WHAT WAS JJ THINKING????

JJ? Buddy? Next time, MORE LENS FLARES!!!!

GIVE ME THE FLARES, I GIVE YOU MY MONEY FOR TREK 12.

:p;)

JJ said that he did it because we have a very bright future ahead of us. Unfortunately that only applies when your on the Bridge of the Enterprise. Anywhere else is just a rusting, concrete floored brewery.

I liked the paint jobs in the brewery, like the teal bin that Scotty beamed into; and the swirly lighting on the vats, in Communications.

Still, a little lens flare in there in Communications might have kept me from remembering Bob McKenzie getting stranded in a vat at Elsinore Brewery and drinking all the beer in Strange Brew.

The lens flare isn't as bad as everyone says. Y'all are just being a little crybabies.

Besides. I'd rather have THAT then blue schlongs waggling around.

What lens flares? Seriously, this is the only place I've read about them. None of the major reviews complained about them. And none of the people I saw the movie with mentioned them afterwards. We were too busy snickering about the reference to Archer's beagle . . . .

But when what is brewed is this good, by the great bird of the galaxy, we could all be so unfortunate.

I was impressed by that blue schlong. It must have taken a whole team of animators to get it to move so convincingly.

It's a faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaake!

:guffaw::guffaw::guffaw:

Re: lens flare - well that's how bright lights look to me when I'm not wearing my spectacles anyway. Without my specs, the small blue light on DH's desk top computer power button looks like a 5 petal flower. Doesn't every one everyone see intense light like that?

What the hell is a lens flare?

These are lens flares:
