You're welcome.

I still don't see how Obama is ANYTHING like Spock.

*SHRUGS*

I'm just glad the new movie doesn't have all kinds of political crap in it....

The next film will be directed by Michael Moore and star Al Franken as the benevolent, fair, and idealistic member of the Federation council who uncovers the corruption and lies of the administration of the Evil Federation President, Gregory W. Tree.

Yeah, me too Pen!

It was actually kind of nice to GET AWAY from the Obamamedia for two hours without hearing his name or some reference to him.

Obama is probably the first president who I've thought has had excellent taste. Star Trek references, big fan of The Wire, big NBA fan, a few other things I read about over the past year.
Naturally none of this is remotely relevant to job performance, policy ideas, or all that important stuff, but its still pretty neat to have a president who is a "pop culture contemporary".

Though I suppose that's more of a commentary at how out of touch previous presidents have been.

The only traits that Obama shares with Vulcans are their arrogance and their deftness at lying and then rationalizing it.:rommie: Vulcan, indeed!

And I guess Vulcan Obama married a Klingon named Michelle:lol:

??? Have you actually watched much Trek? It's almost always political allegory.

Obama is given the 'Vulcan' reference... in the article posted (anyone bother to read it?) because he's articulate. Not to mention tall, thin, and has big ears.

Personally, I love hearing about Obama. He's a president who doesn't embarrass the nation. Unlike the last crowd of liars and criminals. Why so much hate for the guy who got an overwhelming majority vote from Americans? Hmmm?
