At first I thought it was random and went "wtf?" and frantically looked around at my friends (who were in uniform! gotta love 'em) for any signs of aghastment.

But... I thought about it and have decided that the whole Spock & Uhura love relationship thing is actually pretty awesome.

Watching the show, I always thought there was some kind of cute little chemistry going on between Spock & Uhura. I mean, I was probably imagining it, but there was totally potential there.

And I think back on the movie, and I actually kind of adore the scene where Uhura is kissing all over Spock... even though I do think it's kind of weird to randomly kiss a grieving person. then again, 23rd century, you know...

ah, *sigh* I just all around love that movie.

so, what you think about S/U?

It's okay. I could without, but doesn't hinder my enjoyment of the film though. So either way is fine with me.

I tended to S/U classes that I thought I couldn't get at least a B in, so yeah, I support it. Kept my GPA up at any rate.

...oh, this the Trek XI forum?

I was neutral towards it--I didn't hate it nor did I care about it. It was just "there".

I felt the same way. It seemed kind of forced though.
