The Obama reviews "Star Trek"

yeah, and it only served to incense the anti-Obama folk on there even more. oh, the good times we had last year on TNZ

Spobama.
Nerobama.
Robauma.

President's a Trekkie. Friggin' sweet.

ETA: Damn you Nerys Myk.

Eh, he may be The Obama but he's no Robau.
Cue the newest Trek XI thread, "Facts About President The Obama."

OT, I'm glad that he liked the film. Making this the first time in my life that I've wanted to switch places with the President of the United States. :wah:

No, he's cooler and less easily rattled than Spock.

Dude, what are you smoking? He's not even close to Spock's level of cool.

I can't disagree on the latter, although it's early days and I'm sure people will get to him sooner or later.

Very nice, although this is the first I've heard of Spock comparisons. :vulcan: Anyway, glad to see a President that's a Trekkie -- or a casual Trekkie, at least. I knew there was a reason I would've voted for him if I could have.

Obama: Captain, I imagine you're wondering why I called you, a fictitious dead guy, to the Oval Office.

Robau: I can only assume, sir, that a crisis has arisen too big for anyone else to handle.

For some reason, this brings to mind Captain Robau as Major Payne! (My mind works in mysterious ways... when it works...):rommie:
