Re: How many times?

Three.

The first was over a month ago, when Leonard Nimoy & the writers came to Austin.

The second was a week and a half ago, I got into a free advanced screenin' with my friends Angie & Ted.

And this past Sunday, I actually paid to see it with my friends Ryan, Brian, Trace & Ian.

I'm thinkin' of goin' again next week, to see it in IMAX.

It was pretty cool at the IMAX where I saw it. I actually went by accident when my friend surprised me with the ticket...first time I had ever seen a movie in IMAX...

Re: How many times?

Seeing it a third time tomorrow. CAN. NOT. WAIT.

I compare this to Nemesis the plot of which I could barely remember the next day..

The first non-documentary type movie I saw in IMAX was The Dark Knight. It was awesome.

Lookin' forward to seein' Star Trek in that format.

FOUR

Twice opening night and twice in IMAX. Two more times in IMAX this upcoming Friday and Sunday.

I think I might be done once I get to 7 or 8 times.

Went again on Wednesday, so twice so far. The first time I experienced it, the second time I saw it. As much as I enjoyed it the first run through, seeing it again I was a bit surprised that it is a sturdier, more well constructed film than I had thought. Holds up. Twice seems to be about enough though, unless someone coaxes me into going again.

Next stop: Blu-ray

Re: How many times have you seen it yet?

I saw it opening day in Vegas as I was vacationing there last week. I then saw it again at home a few hours after getting off the plane. So, thus far I've seen it twice. I plan on seeing it again another 2 - 3 times in the theater and then who knows how many times after that.

Re: How many times have you seen it yet?

Saw it one per day for the first four days. It's been a few days now and I'm ready for more. Maybe this weekend...

Re: How many times have you seen it yet?

/.../ and then who knows how many times after that.

Yeah, and at least one time frame-by-frame :rommie:

Edit: four is my number thus far, but the plan is at least two more; once with dad and once with a friend that says she'd like to see it (would be her very first SciFi!!)

Re: How many times have you seen it yet?

Saw it twice with my son. Going again with him Friday with two of his friends who are minorly familiar with Trek. Gotta build the fan base. :techman:

Re: How many times have you seen it yet?

Hopefully I will be seeing it this Saturday (my first time).

Re: How many times have you seen it yet?

Twice. Once in Italian and once in original language.

Maybe I will see it one more time before it goes out if I can find time in my (at the moment quite busy) schedule.
