I agree w/ Luther, this has pretty much been a shit season.

So many of the story lines seem so familiar that I find myself Doing Things while watching the episodes this season, and still not missing a beat.

Watching the last two hours will be such a monumental retread. At least with the awful series finale of nuBSG I didn't know what was going to happen even though I knew that the series had completely lost its footing!

Tuning in for next season will be an act of charity.

Oh, God........

Kim? F**ing dumbass Kim? This season started out with such promise, but ever since Tony turned out to be the baddie, I've frankly been a bit bored. Good Lord, can dumbass Kim just DIE already?

The one good thing about this episode? Good old Aaron Pierce turns out to be smarter than anyone else in the whole damn White House. I hope they nail Olivia to the wall.

This is even dumber considering the fact that (I believe) most of the writers from the first few seasons have left the show.

The thing with Kim at the airport with the two bad guys was stupid and typical of 24. Ditto for the patsy and the one subway cop who is also a bad guy. There could be a terrorist threat at the Super Bowl with 100,000 people there. If only one of those 100,000 is a mole, someone close to Jack will end up going to them for help.

Kim knows something's up. Her trip to "the bathroom" was for other purposes. The writers are counting on the Kim-haters expecting Kim to be "stupid", and will double-cross them.

Of course something ELSE will go wrong even after Kim starts defending herself. That's the formula for ANY TV show. The hero tries and always fails until the final effort. That's not a 24 thing, just a basic TV formula.

Frankly, I'm more interested in how the President's family thing will be resolved. And if the 12 will get away or be systematically eliminated by one of their own who will make it to the next "day".

I can't imagine how they will be exposed. Neither Tony nor the girl who likes disguises knows their true identities.

I'm still watching with one eye on the screen, but yeesh. How many time has Jack pulled the ole "you're not getting your meds till you talk!!!" routine? They ran out of ideas so long ago, I can't even recall when they did something new. Just hanging in there to see the final Tony-twist.

If if they try to make him suddenly 'good' again, then this season gets an automatic F.

Perhaps we'll learn that Kim Bower, not being a total idiot, pulled strings with the second Palmer Administration to get herself deputized as a Special Deputy US Marshal in perpetuity so that she can fly armed.

^You know what ? After all the cougars and survivalists and crazy people she's run in to, I would dearly love it if she was able to deal with her "captors" on her own.

Yeah that would make up for this latest appearance. Make her (almost) as awesome as her dad and it would make up for all of them.

So they threaten her to get her into a secluded employee-only area of the airport. Once out of sight, Kim strikes the man in the throat with sufficient force to crush his larynx. It takes him several seconds of futile struggling to choke to death on his own voicebox. The woman, startled, tries to pull a gun, before it clears the holster Kim has broken her arm it two places and dislocated her shoulder. Kim then throws her to the ground, mounts her, and beats the crap out of her. Looking down at the dazzed, bloody and confuses women, Kim simply states, "I'm Jack Bauers daughter, you stupid bitch." Kim then grabbed the jagged broken bone that is sticking out of the battered terrorist's forearm and yanks it out completely. "Now tell me who you are working for", she calmly demands, "or I'll stab you to death with your own ulna."

One last thought - too lazy to paw thru the thread and see if this has already been mentioned - but if Tony were a serious terrorist, he wouldn't have set the bomb to explode well before rush hour.

Just more proof that Tony will flip to the good side on Monday (shortly before he dies in Jack's arms.) :rommie:

The final twist is that Tony is the real Jack and Jack is actually a clone.

Tony has been dead all this time. ZOMBIE TONY!
