Now...back to the topic!
How about the Nokia-verse?
nuTrek
Quote for truth this seems to be a reoccurring name for it and it sounds good and catchy.
I'm more in favor of calling the old one the Grandpa-verse.
You make a good argument, and I will try.Prime for the old timeline (it was on screen as Spock Prime, so it's canon!) No seriously, I like it. And just Star Trek for the new timeline.
Maybe Trek Prime. It has a nice ring to it.You make a good argument, and I will try.Prime for the old timeline (it was on screen as Spock Prime, so it's canon!) No seriously, I like it. And just Star Trek for the new timeline.
It's just that the word "oldTrek" has by now been stored in the muscle memory of my hands, so I can't promise I'll actually use "primeTrek".![]()
Timeline...reality...universe...I wouldn't necessarily call it an alternate universe (as seen in TNG episode "Parallels"). It's more like an alternative timeline (or alternate reality). I've been referring to this new timeline lately as Ultimate Star Trek, just like the Ultimate Marvel line of comics. Perhaps the Ulti-verse?
