Any folks in costume?

I went to the IMAX theater in Westbury Long Island at midnight -- it was practically sold out, only the front row or 2 remained. The only guy I saw dressed up was from the prior show letting out and he was dressed as Darth Vader in a trench coat...I was hoping that he would give us a quick flash but to no avail.

I will say the audience was pretty diverse and there were a lot of young people there....packs of young men and they weren't with their parents. I did not see one sombrero!

What's with all the no-costume talk?! I think TBBS needs to organize and send constumed parties to various showings across the country.

BTW, I think the next time a trek movies comes on, I'm going to wear a sports jersey with a sigh says "oops wrong costume" tacked on.

Sadly enough we had no one in uniform or costume however it was a Studio Movie Grill. I'm betting somebody will tonight though!

Packed theater, no costumes. I was shocked.

Same here, just a few people in costume who had gone to the 7:00 show at the AMC Dundas & Yonge 24 (Toronto). I just missed them, and I didn't even have my camera.

There was one group of TOS-dressed guys at a 7pm showing I went to. They had a lot of popcorn thrown at them by some teenagers as they walked in, and one poor chap had a large soft drink thrown at him.

I thought that was kind of strange, but I guess these kinds of things happen when the filmmakers try to appeal to general audiences.

I'm sure you will, and I'm sure that the moderators will give you an infraction if you continue to troll.

My group of about 15 will be attending a 7PM showing tomorrow evening. I don't know about the rest, but my 12-year-old daughter will be in a classic red dress-style TOS uniform, my 16-year-old son will be in a classic gold captain's uniform, and my wife and I will probably just wear combadges. She might put on her Bajoran earring - I dunno.
