Got tickets?

I will be at the Indianapolis premire in IMAX on the 7th at 7. Going to Steak n' Shake with the Missus and then to the theater by 6 PM to enjoy all the geeky goodness, and possibly to snap some pix for TrekMovie.com

Anyone else going to Indy on the Southside at the IMAX?

Bought tix first day they were available online. Going to the 7:30 Thur May 7 show.

I usually avoid opening weekends, and opening day especially. But I am way too excited about this movie. I have not been this excited about a movie in a very long time.

I called into a radio show yesterday and won passes for a private screening in Chicago on Monday!

Tickets

Got mine today. First possible showing in my town, and get this! It's the 7th at 7. Anyone else got theirs?

IMAX in Toronto, baby! Just bought 2 tickets tonight....7pm on the 7th.
I can't wait..........

I picked up my ticket on Sunday. For IMAX :D

The true accomplishment though is that I got 4 of my friends , all new comers to Trek, to come see the movie with me

I've managed to contain my enthusiasm quite well so far...

...but, with only a few days until the event, I can't contain the enthusiasm any longer for several reasons:

1.) I just got tickets for the movie. Regular screening on Thursday night @ 7:00 PM and IMAX on Friday Afternoon with Mom.

2.) I'll be seeing it again at the end of the month at a HD theater in Tennessee while vacationing there with my best friend. That's going to be fun.

3.) While treating myself to a junk food lunch at the Burger King yesterday, I noticed they had Star Trek glasses for sale with the value meals. I got the Kirk glass and will soon be using it as my ultimate Nerdy-ass Pimp cup. Pictures will follow later today.

4.) This is, after all, the first time a Star Trek film has been in theaters for 7 years. One could also argue it's the first good one in 13. Either way, I look forward to a great time at the movies.

I'm hoping that "Adult Ticket" means boobies will be provided.

If not, I think I'll make a complaint.

Also... any of the few Glasweigans here (if they're even reading here) have tickets to Wednesdays midnight screening? I only learned of this after getting my ticket sorted - would have made the day far more convenient.

Just picked them up for Thursday at 7:00 PM. I think this is the first time I've ever bought tickets in advance. And this comes from an old Trekker who has some trepidations about this film.
