Great episode. It felt as if someone had slowed down time - how did all that happen in 48 minutes of running time?
Unfortunately, I was also spoiled about Alan Tudyk being Alpha, so that reveal was wasted on me too.
I can see Ballard and Langton becoming temporary partners now to track down Echo. It sounded like Langton was going to make a case for Ballard not to be put in the chair, but he was interrupted by Sierra's call to Dewitt.
I'm still hoping that Fox will not cancel - there's been no official word yet. I'll have to check viewer numbers to see if the audience has increased at all...

Excellent Alan Tudyk never disappoints and while I knew that he was Alpha from spoilers, his performance was no less shocking. Dr. Saunders has to be a doll, didn't someone make a comment that she never leaves to go home? If they plan to take Victor to the attic, why can't they just make him the new chief of security, keeping Boyd with Echo?
I deeply hope we get to find out where these characters are going. Maybe a miniseries on Sci-fi channel? (note I refuse to use that ass-tastic Sy-Fy name)

Best episode of the season for me. I didn't see the Alpha reveal coming; and I like the way they gave us tiny bits of foreshadowing, like putting him in Active sleep wear first. I never considered the fact that Saunders could be a doll, either. Makes a great deal of sense once we were allowed to consider the possibility.
That's my guess as well. When Ballard is made to understand what it is they are dealing with in Alpha, Ballard will temporarily set aside his difference to help combat the greater evil.
For the show's survival chances, it could be a case of too little too late. That would be a shame because this was the episode where I actually really cared what happens next.
